Professionals: your data
Why your business is in our directory, where its contact details come from, and what you can ask for.

1. Why you are in the directory
Hullteam keeps the maintenance log of pleasure boats. When a boat owner records a job, they need to be able to name the business that carried it out — otherwise their log remains a list of memories. We therefore keep a directory of marine professionals: boatyards, mechanics, marine surveyors, chandlers, brokerages.
Your listing is used to find you in a list, to send you a request to confirm a job, and to present you to boat owners in your area. It costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
2. Where your contact details come from
They were not collected from you. They come from public and open sources: public business registers and open map data. We do not buy any mailing lists and collect nothing from social networks.
The information concerned is what a business makes public: company name, SIRET number (French business identifier), address, phone number, business email address, website, declared activity.
3. What we do with them
- Show you in the directory and on public pages — your email address is never displayed there.
- Pass on to you a confirmation request when one of your customers records a job you carried out.
- Introduce Hullteam to you by email, about your professional activity, with an unsubscribe link in every message.
- Guess your trades automatically from your company name and declared activity, so as to place you in the right categories. These are assumptions, not information you gave us: they are corrected as soon as you tell us, or as soon as you take over your listing.
We do not sell or rent this data. The legal basis for this processing is legitimate interest: making known to boat owners the professionals who can serve them, and to those professionals a service that concerns them.
4. For how long
For as long as the listing is useful to the directory, and until you ask for it to be removed. If you object to receiving our messages, we keep only the fact of your objection — that is what stops us from contacting you again by mistake.
5. What you can ask for
At any time, and free of charge:
- See the information we hold about your business.
- Correct it — trades, service area, contact details: everything can be changed.
- Have your listing removed from the directory, without having to give a reason.
- Stop receiving messages, through the unsubscribe link or by writing to us.
- Object to the processing, or ask for it to be restricted.
One step is enough: write to contact@hullteam.com giving the name of your business. We reply within one month, and in practice much sooner.
6. Taking over your listing
Rather than having it removed, you can claim it: you then become the sole master of what it shows, you receive confirmation requests directly, and you can keep your customers’ maintenance logs. It is free. Write to us and we will link you to your listing.
7. Who is responsible, and where to complain
