Is the log really free?
Yes. Jobs, due dates, engines, vault, equipment, safety, crew: the whole log is free, with no credit card and no time limit, and 30 invoices read per year are included. You only pay if you take Hully, or on the day you sell.
What does Hully do?
He knows your boat inside out. He finds the manuals for your engines and equipment, takes in your invoices, your papers and your log, and answers your questions by showing you the page. If he answers from general knowledge rather than from your papers, he tells you. He also prepares your printable safety sheets and the QR codes for your equipment. €99 a year or €12.90 a month; the log itself stays free.
I have ten years of paper invoices. Where do I start?
With your boat papers: upload the registration certificate and the radio licence, and the profile fills itself in. Then photograph your invoices in bulk from your phone: each one is read and suggested as a pre-filled job, for you to accept or correct. The first 30 reads per year are free; beyond that, the catch-up pack adds 150, and Hully removes the yearly cap.
How does a quote request work?
You describe what you need from your log or the “Request quotes” page: your boat’s details are filled in automatically. Hullteam checks the request, then sends it to the right trade at your marina, and emails you when it goes out. It’s free for you.
How do I sell my boat with Hullteam?
Three ways, your choice. Yourself, with the seller pack: your file marked “for sale” appears among the boats for sale, with no commission. Through a partner broker, who takes over your file. Or by letting Hullteam sell it, under a mandate: 5% of the price · €1,500 minimum. Hullteam is not a classifieds site: you can also list elsewhere and paste the link to your file.
Does the sale file have legal value?
The file proves precedence: every line is chained and the whole is timestamped every night by an independent timestamping service (RFC 3161 standard). It establishes that a piece of information existed on a given date and has not changed since. It is not a survey and Hullteam does not guarantee the boat’s condition — it guarantees that the history has not been rewritten.
Does the buyer need an account?
No. He opens the link to the file and reads it. If he buys the boat, you designate him by email: he receives the full sealed log, you and your crew lose access, and a transfer certificate is issued for both of you.
Who can see my data?
You, and the people you give access to. Nothing private is public: not your documents, not the registration number, not the MMSI. Data is hosted in France, and you can delete your account at any time.
