The absent owner sees what you have done, without calling you

Yacht concierge, cleaning, boat watching, professional skippers, boat management: your client is three hundred kilometres from their boat and you are their eyes. 161 businesses in these trades are already in Hullteam’s directory.

What it changes, in practice

You look after fifteen or so boats in the marina. Every month, for each one, the same thing: go aboard, check the mooring lines and batteries, rinse the deck, take two photos, and write to the owner to say all is well. Then answer the owner who has not read the message and calls to ask if all is well.

With Hullteam, you record the visit in the boat’s log: the date, what you did, your photos, and your invoice if there is one. The owner opens it whenever they like, from their phone, and sees your visits one after another. You no longer write reports — you file, and the report exists on its own.

“Manager”, in plain words

Hullteam has two access levels for a professional. By default, you enter your own jobs and nothing else. But the owner can name you manager of the boat: you then keep the whole log on their behalf — history, due dates, documents — exactly as if they kept it themselves. It is the level made for you if you manage the boat year-round.

They grant this level, boat by boat, and they withdraw it. What you have written stays in the log even afterwards: a boat’s log is never erased — that is what gives it value.

How to start

Either the owner invites you from their boat’s page and you receive a link. Or you add the boat from your space, giving the owner’s email address: they receive a request, and nothing is visible to you until they have answered.
