The boat that is born documented

A new boat leaves the yard with a pile of manuals, serial numbers, warranties and an equipment list. Six months later, half of it has gone. Ten years later, the second-hand buyer no longer knows which windlass is fitted, or which year the engine is.

What it changes, in practice

You deliver the boat with its Hullteam log already filled in: the factory-fitted equipment with makes and models, the manuals, the certificates, the warranty dates. The owner has nothing to enter — they inherit a history that starts on day one, and carry it on.

The log follows the boat, not the owner. When it is resold, the buyer sees where each piece of equipment comes from and what has been done since it left the line. What it is worth to you is not one more sale: it is the resale value of your used boats, which is the selling point of your new ones.

Your boats already at sea, too

This is the place no one else can take: you are the only one who knows a boat of your brand built fifteen years ago. An owner can allow you to complete their boat’s log — the original equipment, recall campaigns, what was changed at the factory. Of course you only have access if they open it to you, and they can close it whenever they like.

Let’s talk

A boatbuilder does not join Hullteam by filling in a form: there is a fleet to take on, product data to match, and an after-sales team to involve. Write to us and we will look at your case in practice — how many boats, what data already exists, and where to start.
