Entering by boat: Türkiye
What to do to enter Türkiye by sea: the procedures, the papers to present and the ports where you can clear in.

Before you arrive
- Online procedure: Transit Log (Yacht Registration Form) — ktb.gov.tr/EN-99343/yacht-registration-form-transit-log.html
The steps
- Arrive at an official port of entry.
- Get the Transit Log issued: customs, passport police, health, list of persons on board.
- You can then cruise freely between Turkish ports; the Transit Log is checked in each port.
- Leaving Türkiye: clear out at a port of entry.
Papers to have on board
- Passports for the whole crew
- Visas, if your nationality requires them
- Crew list
- Boat papers (registration certificate)
Good to know
- An agent is not mandatory but very often used.
- Black water must be held in a tank (“Blue Card” system).
