Coastguard formalities at the entrance; yachts are placed near the ferry terminal; insist on a customs visit on entry or exit. Call the coastguard on VHF 16 on entering Algerian waters and the harbour master (VHF 14/16) before entering port; visa needed in advance, formalities in every port.
